在日常生活中啊，每個人都有不懂的領域，不熟悉的東西。總有會難倒自己的問題。比如我現在問你，666乘以666等於多少，你肯定不知道嘛。或者問你，世界上跑得最快的動物是哪個？你還是不知道。咦好像是豹子...但是我不知道。在這種時候，你可以用英文說，I don't know，沒有問題？但是呢，很多時候，美國人愛用另一種方法表達，中文叫做難倒我了，英文叫beats me. b-e-a-t-s就是beat加s. 然後加 basically means "I don't know or I don't understand, or I cannot figure it out". Actually, there is another phrase for saying "I don't know", which is "you got me". You got me has several meanings, all widely used, depending on the context. In here, if a person asks a question you cannot answer, you can just say, like what we've discussed, "beats me" or "you got me".就是說，You got me在不同情境下有很多種意思，隨便舉兩個例子，比如說you got me可以表示，"有我呢"，在安慰人的時候表示"有我呢，不用怕"。或者說警察住小偷的時候，（小偷）可以說"you got me",抓到我了。在表達我不知道的時候的情景，you got me就是表示和beats me一樣，難倒我了。注意一下，這裏的beats me是省略了it. 本來全橘子應該是It beats me，但是口語中我們基本不用這個it，直接省略。所以就直接說beats me.如果大家看老友記的話，可呢還會有印象，Ross曾經在這個某一集中說過，我記得是當時誰跟他講了一個問題，好像是chandler,提了一個問題，然後Ross說，I don't know, beats me. 就是說我不知道，難道我了的意思。
