Scantily clad models and children are banned from the 16th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition opening on April 22, the Shanghai Morning Post reported on Thursday.
據《上海晨報》週四報道，第16屆上海國際車展將於4月22日開幕，本屆車展將取消衣着暴露的模特，同時謝絕兒童觀展。

【講解】

Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition是上海國際車展；scantily clad是衣着暴露的。
車模（models at auto shows）因穿着越來越暴露（wear fewer and fewer clothes）導致觀展者分心（cause distractions）而飽受指責。漂亮的女性能吸引觀衆（attract the crowd），但是也會使這些潛在的顧客（potential customers）分心，注意力從汽車轉移到模特身上。
新規出臺後，參觀者可以將注意力集中在（concentrate on）新能源（new energy）汽車和概念車（concept cars）上，不過據業內人士（industrial insiders）透露，汽車經銷商（auto dealers）可能會讓車模變身接待員（receptionists）或是銷售顧問（sales consultants）來應對這一禁令。
另外，考慮到車展期間人流量較大，出於安全原因（due to safety concerns），主辦方（organizers）謝絕兒童觀展（forbid children from attending）。
一個月前的北京車展上，一名兒童趁家長不注意（not paying attention）溜進特斯拉展車，並啓動了車輛（start the engine），緩慢移動的車輛差點撞到其他參觀者，不過在事態嚴重（before things got worse）前工作人員將該車停了下來。
