BEIJING - China's top Internet regulator on Sunday ordered the microblogging platforms of Sina and Tencent to shut down the accounts of Ren Zhiqiang, a celebrity blogger and property developer, for spreading illegal information.
北京消息，週日，中國最高互聯網監管責令新浪、騰訊等網站關閉任志強微博賬號，知名大V、房地產開發商任志強因傳播非法信息被關閉賬號。

國家網信辦發言人姜軍發表談話稱，網絡空間（cyberspace）不是法外之地（a lawless field），任何人不得利用網絡傳播違法信息（spread illegal information）。
姜軍表示，據網民舉報，任志強微博賬號持續公開發布違法信息（regularly posted illegal information），影響惡劣（vile influence）。
根據（in accordance with）《全國人民代表大會常務委員會關於維護互聯網安全（safeguard Internet security）的決定》《國務院關於授權國家互聯網信息辦公室負責互聯網信息內容管理工作（manage online information and content）的通知》等法律法規，國家網信辦責令新浪、騰訊等有關網站依法關閉任志強微博賬號。
姜軍指出，無論是互聯網信息服務提供者（Internet service providers）還是網民（netizens），都應增強自律意識（enhance awareness）和底線（bottom line）意識，堅守法律法規底線、堅守社會主義制度（the socialist system）底線、堅守國家利益底線、堅守公民合法權益（citizen's legal interests）底線、堅守社會公共秩序（social order）底線、堅守道德風尚（ethics）底線、堅守信息真實性（the authenticity of information）底線。
網絡名人、“網絡大V”更要正確運用自身影響力（use their influence correctly），模範遵守法律法規（exemplify in observing laws），自覺承擔社會責任（shoulder their due social responsibilities），積極傳播正能量（promote "positive energy" actively）。
國家網信辦將加大（intensify）網上信息內容監督管理（monitor and manage online information and content）執法力度（law enforcement efforts），決不允許已被關閉賬號（the closed accounts）的用戶以“換馬甲”等方式改頭換面再次註冊（register again）。
