Which are the most visited museums in the world? Based on the statistics published by travel institutions like the Themed Entertainment Association, Die Welt ,a German newspaer,drew up a bucket list of the "Top 20 most popular museums around the world", in which the Louvre in France, National Museum of China and National Museum of Natural History in Washington seized the top three spots, respectively.

Top 20 most popular museums around the world是全球最受歡迎20大博物館；Louvre是盧浮宮；National Museum of China是中國國家博物館；National Museum of Natural History是美國國家自然歷史博物館。
進入20大榜單（make the list）的中國博物館還包括排名第10的中國臺北故宮博物院（The National Palace Museum in Taipei）以及排名第13上海科技館（Shanghai Science & Technology Museum）。另外（furthermore），“國博”以19.5萬平方米的面積成爲“世界最大的博物館（the biggest museum in the world）”。
報道稱，歐洲博物館仍是最受歡迎的（the most visited），共有9座入榜。美國則有6座，亞洲爲5座。如果要評選“世界博物館之都”，那麼倫敦、華盛頓和巴黎將上榜，這三座城市擁有最多的博物館資源（the richest number of museum resources）。這3個城市各有（respectively）5個、4個和3個博物館進入“20大博物館”榜單（the top 20 most visited museums list）。
