HANGZHOU -- About 20 people were injured after strong thunderstorms and hail swept through the city of Wenzhou of Zhejiang province in eastern China Wednesday, local authorities said.

溫州消息：中國東部浙江省溫州市有關部門表示，溫州遭遇強雷雨天氣和冰雹的襲擊，造成約20人受傷。

昨天下午3時許，狂風驟雨（wild storms and heavy rain）夾雜冰雹（hail）突襲溫州，溫州職業技術學院（Wenzhou Vocational & Technical College）當時正在操場上搭建的簡易棚（simple shed）舉行2019屆畢業生畢業設計作品展（exhibition on the final work of its 2019 graduates）暨就業推薦（employment recommendation）會。
有多名學生和招聘人員（recruiters）被冰雹砸傷（hit and injured by hail），陸續被送往醫院治療（receive treatment）。其中5名學生傷勢較重（hurt badly），正在住院觀察。
據當地教育局介紹，目前其他學校沒有人員受傷（no injuries）。
