12月13日，北京市第183場新冠肺炎疫情防控工作新聞發佈會召開。北京市疾控中心副主任龐星火表示，當前，境外疫情持續蔓延，國內多地出現冷鏈從業人員確診病例。爲科學指導本市冷鏈食品生產、裝卸、運輸、儲存和經營等環節相關從業人員做好個人防護，最大限度防範新冠病毒感染，市疾控中心制定了相關防護指引，希望相關從業人員做好防護。

據中國新聞網報道，北京市發佈針對冷鏈食品從業人員的新冠肺炎防控指南，以最大限度地遏制病毒的傳播。

在週日召開的新聞發佈會（news conference）上，北京市疾控中心副主任龐星火介紹了最新的冷鏈從業人員（cold-chain employees）指南。她表示，冷鏈人業人員應增強個人防護意識（enhance their protection awareness），掌握相關防護技能（possess relevant protection skills），做好自我健康監測（practice self-health monitoring），並隨時關注共同工作、居住人員健康狀況（health status），堅持每日檢測體溫，一旦出現發熱、咳嗽等異常症狀（abnormal symptoms）時要及時報告，並立即就近到發熱門診（fever clinics）進行排查，儘量不乘坐公共交通工具（avoid using public transport）前往。
工作期間要正確佩戴口罩和一次性手套（disposable gloves），着工作服（work clothes）上崗，保持工作服乾淨整潔（keep their clothes clean），必要時進行消毒（disinfect）；生鮮宰殺、分割車間等特殊崗位從業人員（employees working at special units）除着工作服外，按要求穿戴防水圍裙（waterproof aprons）、橡膠手套（rubber gloves）、膠靴等。
裝卸人員（stevedore）除遵循戴口罩等個人一般衛生要求外，搬運貨物前要穿戴工作衣帽和手套，必要時佩戴護目鏡（goggles）和麪屏（face screens），避免貨物表面頻繁接觸體表（avoid frequent contact with the surface of the goods）；搬卸來自疫情地區的進口冷鏈食品（cold-chain food imported from virus-affected areas）時，要全程規範戴好口罩（wear masks at all times），避免貨物貼近面部（avoid the goods getting close to face）及用手觸摸口鼻（touching mouth and nose with hands），防止接觸到可能被病毒污染的冷凍水產品（prevent exposure to frozen aquatic products that may be contaminated by the virus）等；搬卸過程中如口罩、手套破損等要立即更換。
運輸車輛司機（drivers of transport vehicles）在轉運過程中不得擅自打開冷鏈食品包裝（open cold-chain food packaging）或直接接觸冷鏈食品（contact cold-chain food directly）；車輛進出大門時，避免與門衛等人員不必要的接觸（avoid unnecessary contact with security guards and other personnel）。
清潔生產（clean production）、加工（processing）、儲存和運輸（storage and transportation）等環境時，不使用高壓高速水流（high-pressure water）進行噴淋沖洗，防止引起噴濺污染（cause pollution when spraying）。
國際貨運（international cargo）安檢人員應穿戴工作衣帽（wear work clothes and hats），使用一次性醫用口罩或外科口罩（disposable medical or surgical masks）、手套，必要時佩戴護目鏡和麪屏。加強手衛生，每次更換手套或摘下手套時必須洗手消毒（wash and disinfect hands），避免防護用品二次污染（secondary pollution）。工作後，在指定區域內（designated area）脫去工作服、鞋帽和口罩等防護用品（protective equipment）後方可離開作業場所，脫下的防護用品按規定妥善收集，集中消毒處理。
此外，冷鏈食品從業人員還要在家裏做好防護工作。外出回家後應脫去口罩、外衣、鞋帽（take off masks, coats, shoes and hats）等放置在特定區域，並規範進行洗手，未洗手前不要用手接觸口、眼、鼻，口鼻分泌物或吐痰時用紙巾包住（wrap the nasal and mouth discharge with tissues），棄置於有蓋垃圾箱內（dispose them in trash bins with lids）。保持家庭環境衛生（keep indoor areas clean），採取溼式清潔，必要時進行預防性消毒（prevention disinfection）。
