浙江麗水山體滑坡已致16人遇難 21人失聯

The death toll from an east China landslide has risen to 16, with 21 people still missing after a landslide hit a village in east China's Zhejiang Province Friday night, local authorities said.

據浙江麗水當地政府表示，上週五晚上的山體滑坡已導致16人死亡，21人失聯。

The landslide was reported at around 10:50 p.m. in Lidong Village of Yaxi Township in the outlying Liandu District of Lishui City, the city government said in a press release. Torrents of mud and rocks buried 27 homes in the village, with 21 houses flooded.

當地市政府在新聞發佈會上表示，週五晚22時50分許，浙江省麗水市蓮都區雅溪鎮裏東村發生山體滑坡。山體滑坡引起的山洪和石塊迅速將村裏27戶房屋掩埋，21戶房屋被沖毀。

Rescue work began immediately after the landslide. More than 2,300 people and 60 vehicles were sent. Zhejiang Province Governor Li Qiang is organizing the rescue effort at the site. Only 10 people were found as of Saturday morning, nine of whom had died. The only survivor was in the hospital, the document said.

當夜山體滑坡後，搜救搶險工作迅速展開，2300餘人及60多輛車輛參與搶救工作，浙江省省長李強在現場組織救援工作。至週六上午，只有10人被找到，其中9名已遇難，唯一的倖存者還在醫院搶救。

More than 2,300 rescuers, along with 7 sniffer dogs, are helping with rescue work. Search and rescue continued Saturday.

2300餘人參與到搜救工作，參與搜救工作的還有7條嗅探犬。目前，搜救搶救工作還在繼續。

Tents, food and water were transported to the village as part of the rescue effort after about 300 people were evacuated.

發生滑坡後，當地300多人被組織疏散，帳篷、事物、和飲用水等物資已運送至現場進行發放。

Lishui reported heavy rain over the past two days. As of 8 a.m. Friday, average precipitation had reached 36 mm. It was still raining when the landslide happened, the local weather bureau said.

據當地氣象局報道，在過去的兩天內，麗水有強降雨，週五上午8時，平均降水量已達36毫米，發生滑坡時當地仍處於降雨範圍。
