A: I hate telling lies.
我討厭說謊。
B: I cannot agree with you completely. I think sometimes it is necessary and helpful to tell a little fib.
我不能完全同意你的觀點。我覺得有時候說謊是必要的，也是有幫助的。
A: Maybe you are right.
也許你是對的吧。
第二， 地道表達
fib
1. 解詞釋義
Fib這個詞語lie都是“說謊”的意思，但是在程度上稍有不同，前者是指“無傷大雅的謊言”，帶有掩飾的意思，即所謂的“白色的謊言”或是“美麗的謊言”，但是後者是指“欺騙性的謊言”。
2. 拓展範例
e.g. Stop telling such silly fibs.
別說這種傻乎乎的謊話了。
e.g. " I told a fib about my age, " little Tom said.
“ 有關我的年齡我撒了個謊, ” 小湯姆說。
e.g. He told a fib so he could leave early.
他撒了一個小謊,以便早些離開。
第三， 咬文嚼字
agree with sb.：同意……
e.g. He tends to get angry when people do not agree with him.
他聽到不同意見時，總是不高興。
e.g. I agree with you, but with some reservations.
我同意你，不過有幾點要保留。
hate doing something：討厭做某事
e.g. I hate doing experiments. They always go wrong for me.
我最恨做實驗，我每次做都出岔錯。
e.g. What do you hate doing around the house?
你討厭在家裏做什麼？
