英語裏被動語態的用法
1、用主動形式表示被動意義。
主動形式來表示被動意義主要有以下六個考點：
1)某些連繫動詞如 smell，feel，taste，sound，prove等可表達被動含義。如:
The story sounds interesting. 這個故事聽起來很有趣.
The apple smells nice.這個蘋果聞起來很香。
2)某些表示“發生”(happen，take place)“爆發”(break out/ burst out)和“傳播(spread)”等不及物動詞在句子中表達被動含義。如
Great changes have taken place these years in my hometown.
近幾年我的家鄉發生了很大的變化。
3)由介詞for，on，above，under等構成的短語經常可以表達被動含義。如:
And some of her famous photos are on display in this exhibition.
她的一些著名的畫在這次展覽會上被展出。
這個句子裏的on display就是主動形式，表示被動的含義。
4)形容詞 worth後面跟動名詞表示被動含義。如:
The book is worth reading. 這本書值得一讀。
5)在need，want，require，deserve和bear等詞的後面，動名詞用主動形式表示被動含義，它的含義相當於動詞不定式的被動形式。如
6)某些動詞不定式用主動形式表被動含義。
有些形容詞後跟不定式作狀語，而句子的主語又是動詞不定式的邏輯賓語時，這時常用不定式的主動形式表達被動含義。如nice，easy，fit，hard，difficult，important，impossible，pleasant，interesting等詞。舉個例子同學們來體會一下：
Sometimes，business English is hard to understand.有時，商業英語很難理解。
2、被動形式表示主動意義。
被動形式表示主動意義主要有下面兩個考點需要同學們注意：
1)一些固定詞組，它們的被動形式通常表示主動意義。
例如be concerned with/ about(關心)，be dressed in(穿着). be hidden(躲藏起來)，be located(位於)，be lost in(陷入，迷路)，be seated(就座)等。大家看下面例句：
That’s fine，as far as we’re concerned. 就我們而言，那樣挺好。
After everyone was seated，the teacher began to read the result.
同學們就座後，老師開始讀考試結果。
2)還有一些動詞構成的被動形式也表示主動意義。
這類詞組有: be used to(習慣於)，be born(出生)，be determined(決心，決定)，be prepared(準備)等。如:

The workers are building a road.
