1. 我不知道我能不能得到這份工作，但我會祈禱自己好運噠！
【原句】I don’t know if I’ll get the job, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
【解說】keep one's fingers crossed. 意思是祈禱好運。
2. 你們在座的有些是因爲有門路才進來的。有些人則認爲自己是個人物。最終這裏只會有一個人真正成爲個人物。
【原句】Some of you guys are here because you know of you guys are here because you think you're e's one guy in here who's gonna be somebody.
【解說】這句話選自電影《當幸福來敲門》(The pursuit of happiness)。雖然且長且繞，但拆開來看都是些簡單的單詞。請大家模仿時注意自己的語音語調！
3. 我的一生被三種簡單卻又無比強烈的激情所控制：對愛的渴望，對知識的探索和對人類苦難難以抑制的憐憫。
【原句】Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.
【解說】overwhelmingly、unbearable這兩個詞會比較拗口，大家要注意哦！
4. 我們創造夢境世界，我們會爲那場夢命題，他們會在夢裏裝滿他們的祕密。
【原句】We create the world of a dream. We bring a subject into that dream and they fill it with their secrets.
【解說】相信大家已經猜到啦~ 這句選自《盜夢空間》。注意create和subject的發音！
5. 這份信念來自早期接觸英國流行哀歌以及對電影《畢業生》完全會錯意。
【原句】This belief stemmed from early exposure to sad British pop music and a total mis-reading of the movie 'The Graduate'.
【解說】本句來自電影《和莎莫的500天》。stem from 意思是起源於、根源是…… exposure的意思本來是“暴露”，但這裏exposure to也可以理解爲“接觸”。
6. 我想要取一個新的名字，它更像真正的我，那個沒人看到過的我。
【原句】I would like to baptize myself under a new name, a name more like the real me, the one nobody sees.
【解說】本句選自《芒果街上的小屋》（The House On Mango Street），是作者Sandra Cisneros（當代美國著名女詩人，墨西哥裔） 親自朗讀噠！大家還能聽出她的西班牙語口音嗎？
7. 在我的生活中，我跟許多正經的人有過不少的接觸。
【原句】In the course of this life I have had a great many encounters with a great many people who have been concerned with matters of consequence.
【解說】本句節選自經典童話《小王子》的英文版有聲書。encounter with 遭遇，遇到； be concerned with 關心，掛念，從事於； a great many 許多，很多，大量。
