[誤] We are interested in world affair now.

[正] We are interested in world affairs now.

注：affair 指與公衆有關的“事務”時，須用複數形式，所以誤句中的world affair 須改爲world affairs。另外， current affairs（時事），foreign affairs（外交事務），affairs of state（國是）等，也都用複數形式。在指“（關係到某個人的事）時，用單數。在指某一事件時，用單數，在 have an affair with sb.（與某人私通）這個固定詞組中用單數。
