第一，情景對話
A: I didn't finish today's test paper.
我今天沒答完卷。
B: Neither did I. I simply left out some questions.
我也沒有，硬是把幾道題給漏了。
A: I had no time to do the last two questions.
我沒時間做最後兩道題了。
B: I'm pretty sure I'll fail.
肯定不及格了。
A: Let's forget about it and prepare for other tests.
算了，還是準備其他考試吧。
B: All right.
好吧。
第二， 詞海拾貝
leave out
exp. To omit something. （遺漏，省略）
e.g. Your paper is nicely written, but you left your references out.
你的論文寫得很好，但是你漏掉了參考文獻。
e.g. I did talk to Mom, I just left out the part about getting detention.
我的確和媽媽談過話了，只是漏掉了關禁閉的部分。
e.g. We weren't sure if the facts were correct, so we left that section out of the report.
我們不確定事實是否正確，所以我們在報告中把那部分刪去了。
e.g. You've left out the decimal point on this price tag.
你把價簽上的小數點漏掉了。
第三， 語彙積累
1. forget about：忘卻，忘記
e.g. Let bygones be bygones and let' s forget about our disputes and be friends again.
過去的事不必再提了,讓我們忘掉過去的爭論,和好如初吧。
e.g. I shall forget about dieting today. I'm just going to indulge, ie eat and drink what I like.
今天我要把節食計畫置之腦後, 想吃什麼就吃什麼。
2. prepare for：爲……做準備
e.g. The front desk must prepare for a surge of arrving guests.
總服務臺應爲大批顧客的蜂擁而至作好準備。
e.g. Then what should a secretary do to prepare for a meeting?
那麼祕書應做些什麼樣的準備工作呢？
