江蘇泰州官員吃豪餐遭圍堵 書記跪桌喊話求饒

On the night of April 19, 2013, the Management Committee of Taizhou Binjiang Industrial Zone, Jiangsu gave a banquet for the favor of anonymous VIPs, who enjoyed top-grade liquor and were generously served senior dishes, particularly saury and balloonfish, etc. However, they were running wild with joy to feast their bellies with all these sumptuous dishes and other additives when some local people crowded into the dinning room to block up feasters who had to stand facing the angry crowd. In the end an official in charge was forced to knell down on the dinning table to plead for mercy.

2013年4月19日晚，江蘇省泰州市濱江工業園區管委會在其招待中心舉行晚宴，喝高檔名酒，吃刀魚和河豚等高級菜餚，遭到了當地羣衆的圍堵，爲首的官員被迫跪在酒桌上喊話求饒。

At about 7:30 p.m. the courtyard of the Management Committee of Taizhou Binjiang Industrial Zone were crowed with nearly 1000 local people, some of whom were so jealously furious that they rushed into the room where the officials were dinning on the second floor of the in-house restaurant.

當晚7時30分，泰州市濱江工業園區管委會院內外圍滿近千名附近羣衆，在管委會招待中心二樓，氣憤的羣衆將當時就餐人員圍堵在房間內。

As it happened, some people had spied on the officials only to find that they were making a real pig of themselves within a compartment, belly-worshiping high-grade alcohol and tobacco, particularly the rarely expensive saury and balloonfish, etc. So they didn’t dare to delay a moment and ran back to their residential community to call together the other residents to catch them “red-handed” joyfully hitting the spot at table.

爲了探其究竟，有人進入二樓餐廳暗訪，發現包廂內的人員正在大吃大喝，消費的都是高檔菸酒，還有名貴刀魚和河豚等菜餚。隨後他們跑回小區通知居民們一起到招待中心抓“現行”。

It was not long before more and more local people joined the furious crowd who were actually set on fire, yelling all with one voice to challenge them to explain it away. Out of frustration, the secretary of the Management Committee of Taizhou Binjiang Industrial Zone was helplessly forced to knell down on the dinning table to plead for mercy through a loudhailer.

隨後，招待中心裏聚集的羣衆越來越多，大家情緒激動，紛紛向參加宴會的官員討說法。無奈之下，參與吃飯的泰州市濱江工業園區管委會書記跪在酒桌上用話筒喊話，向羣衆求饒放人。
