凝視城市之眼 天津濱海圖書館精美絕倫

Amazon's Kindle e-reader turns 10 years old on November 19, but there are still plenty of people who prefer to read the old fashioned way. And a drop-dead gorgeous library in China has these book lovers drooling.

亞馬遜的Kindle電子閱讀器在11月19日迎來了自己的十歲生日，但仍有許多人更愛用傳統方式閱讀。而中國一家精美絕倫的圖書館讓這些圖書愛好者爲之癡迷。

The five-story Tianjin Binhai Library opened in Tianjin in October. The gorgeous center is more than 33,700 square meter and features an awe-inspiring auditorium with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves that can hold up to 1.2 million physical books.

五層樓高的天津濱海圖書館於今年十月份在天津開館。這個華美的中心面積超過3.37萬平方米，令人驚歎的大廳裏全是從地板到天花板的書架，可擺放多達120萬冊紙質書籍。

The enormous design project was helmed by Dutch design firm MVRDV in collaboration with local architects from the Tianjin Urban Planning and Design Institute.

這個巨型設計項目是由荷蘭設計公司MVRDV與天津城市規劃設計院的本地建築師共同設計的。

The library is anchored by a giant spherical structure in the center of the space. The surrounding bookshelves curve and ebb around the sphere, all the way to the ceiling.

這座圖書館依託空間中心的一個巨型球體結構。周圍的書架彎曲、逐漸遠離球體，向上直抵天花板。

This gives visitors the sense that they are walking inside an eye, an illusion that has inspired the library's nickname: "The Eye of Binhai."

這使參觀者感覺他們正在一隻眼睛裏行走，圖書館“濱海之眼”的暱稱的靈感便是來自這種錯覺。

Beyond the eye-popping main space for books, the building also houses many media spaces.

除了令人驚歎的主要藏書空間外，這座建築裏還有很多媒體空間。

The first and second floors feature reading rooms, while lounge areas, meeting rooms and offices can be found on the upper levels. The library also boasts two rooftop patios.

閱覽室在一層和二層，休息區、會議室和辦公空間則在更高的樓層。此外，該圖書館裏還有兩個屋頂露臺。
