職場英語日記 第38期:又是生病日

I'm still sick today. I went home from work at and slept all day. When I requested work at noon and slept all day. When I requsted sick leave, my boss laughed at me because I sneeae about 10 times while talkig to him. He told me I looked awful and said I should go home. He said he doesn't want to see me at work until I am feeling better.

今天病還是沒好。中午從公司回家後睡了一整天，我去向老總請病假時連打了10個噴嚏，被他嘲笑了一番。他說我臉色很差，叫我趕快回家。他說病沒有好不要回來工作。

He sounded gruff but I know he cares about me. I have been in bed since yesterday afternoon. I don't feel any better. In fact, I think I am feeling worse.

雖然他聲音聽起來一板一眼，但我知道他是關心我的。我從昨天下午就一直躺在牀上，可是病情一點都沒有好轉，反而更嚴重了。

I haven't been sick in a long time and I forget how miserable it is. My moom is going to comcome over later to take care iof me. She is bringjing hon=memade chicken soup and some DVDs so I done't have to watch any more bad daytime television.

好久沒生病，我都忘了原來生病那麼悲慘。媽媽晚點會過來照顧我，她會帶自制雞湯還有一些DVD，這樣我就不用再看白天的那些爛電視節目了。

I must confess that I like some soap operas, but I haven't followed them for years so I don't really know what is happening in the stories. The only news and a few talk shows. I'm not really interested in either of those. I think I will just take a nap until my mom shows up.

我承認我挺喜歡一些肥皂劇的，可是好幾年沒關注過了，現在已經搞不清楚故事情節了。除了肥皂劇，白天電視節目還有新聞和一些訪談類節目，這兩種我都沒興趣。我想還是繼續小睡等老媽來好了。
