A．Ask for permission:
1、May I park my car here?
2、Can (Could) I smoke in this room?
3、Do (Would) you mind if I smoke (smoked) here?
4、I wonder if I could smoke here.

B．Responses:
1、Certainly. (sure, of course), go ahead
2、Yes, please.
3、All right (OK).
4、I'm sorry, it's not allowed.
5、I'm afraid not.
