1. 解释

Free elective course的表面意思是“自由选择的课程”，必修课就是“required course”。还有哦一种课程叫做“option course”，这种课程相当于课外活动，学到一门学问，舞蹈或音乐的课程。

在大学里，英语是必修课而心理学是选修课。
