虛擬語氣：wish、if only和as if的用法
Wish，if only和as if經常用於虛擬語氣中，那麼具體該怎麼使用呢？請看例句：
（1）wish表示願望
1. I wish I could pass the exam. 我希望我能通過考試。
2. I wish she had been of my own station. 如果她和我的身份一樣就好了。
3. I wish the children would stop flinging their clothes about, but put them away tidily. 但願孩子們不再亂扔衣服，而是把它們整齊地存放起來。
4. He wished that he had practised the routines. 他希望他已經處理完日常工作了。
（2）if only同wish一樣表示願望，主要爲難以實現的願望。
1. The snow was soft and deep outside. If only he could get out to try his new sled. 外頭的雪下得柔軟又深厚，如果他能出去試試他的新雪橇該多好啊。
2. If only they would tell me what they've decided. 但願他們能把決定告訴我。
3. If only it were possible for me to see her once more! 但願我還能再看見她一次。
4. If only he would lend support to you! 但願他能給予你支持！
5. If only she would pass the English examination! 但願她能通過英語考試！
6. If only I could get a ticket to the concert. 但願我能夠買到音樂會的門票。
（3）as if表示說話人對當時的情況表示懷疑，認爲其不真實或極少概率發生。
1. It looks as if it were in print. 看樣子它是根深蒂固的。
2. She nurtured the child as if he had been her own. 她把那孩子當作自己的來養育。
3. He comported himself as if he had already been elected. 他表現出好像他已經當選了似的。
4. As if he could right the wrongs of the past by his own personal dedication to the cause. 好象通過把他個人奉獻給這個事業，就能糾正過去所犯的錯誤。
5. It seemed to his imagination as if all her sweetness and vitality had flown. 他覺得彷彿她的可愛和活力已全化爲烏有了。
6. It was as if all the circuits inside her had already closed down, were preparing for the darkness of death. 好象她內部的所有電路都關閉了，正準備等待死亡的來臨。

Wish大家一定都不陌生了，而if only和as if從意思上來看也不難理解，這裏要注意的是if only一般獨立使用，是沒有主句搭配的。
