        Dear editor, I'd like to tell you something about the changes of my hometown used to be a beautiful place. Thick trees and green grass could be seen everywhere. However, in order to buildhouses and grow more crops, people cut down more and more trees. As time went on, the wholeforest was almost ually, the green hills have changed into a wasteland. As a result, sandstorms struck us now and then, from which wesuffered a lot. So, I do hope that all the people should realize the terrible result of not caring about our 's more, we should take good care of the forests and plant more trees instead of cutting them down so as to improve ourliving conditions.         敬愛的編輯同志: 我想跟您講講我家鄉的變化。過去家鄉 My Hometown'>我的家鄉是一個莢麗的地方。茂密的樹木和青草隨處可見。可是,爲了蓋房和種更多的莊稼,人們砍了越來越多的樹。隨着時間流逝,整個樹林幾乎全被破壞了。漸漸地,青山變成了荒地。結果,沙塵暴時常襲來,給我們帶來很多災害。所以,我真的希望所有的人們都認識到不保護環境的嚴重後果。還有,爲了改善生活條件,我們應看護好樹林,種更多的樹而不是砍樹。 李華
       Dear editor, I wrote to tell you about my worry. In the past my hometown was a beautiful place with greenhills around our village. But in recent years,more and more trees have been cut down because people wanted to build morehouses and grow more crops. As time went on, the green hills have turned into a wasteland. It is hard to grow things on des, sandstorms struck us now and then, which brought us a lot of hardships. So, I do hope that all the people should beaware of the importance of protecting the environment. Thinking of the terrible result, we shouldn't cut more trees withoutplanting them any more. Without the forest we wouldn't live a better life.
