Another day, another scandal for Justin Bieber.
又是一則關於賈斯汀比伯的醜聞。

This time, the pop star is under fire for telling a racist joke in video footage that was recorded several years ago but only surfaced on Sunday, June 1.
這一次，這位流行歌手因爲一段種族歧視的玩笑視頻片段而備受指責。這段視頻是在幾年前錄的，但在六月一號才曝光。

In the clip, which was posted on the pay site for paper The Sun as well as on TMZ, a young Justin can be seen and heard asking, "Why are black people afraid of chain saws?" He then delivers a tasteless punchline, saying, "run" followed by his repeated use of the N-word.
這段視頻被放到了英國太陽報和TMZ的網站上，當時稚嫩的賈斯汀在影片中問：“爲什麼黑人怕電鋸？”隨後以音同電鋸運轉聲的歧視黑人字眼，搞笑高呼“Run! Nigger…(快跑，黑鬼)”。

TMZ reports that it received the footage four years ago but didn't post it at the time since the pop star was just 15 "and immediately told his friends what he did was stupid," the site writes.
TMZ報道稱，他們早在四年前就收到了這個視頻片段，但是沒有立即公佈出來，因爲那時賈斯汀才15歲，“並且他當時就向朋友承認這個做法是十分愚蠢的，”網站稱。

Hours after the footage emerged, Bieber issued an apology via TMZ. "As a kid, I didn't understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt. I thought it was ok to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but didn't realize at the time that it wasn't funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance," he said.
影片曝光幾個小時後，比伯通過TMZ發表了道歉聲明：“作爲一個年輕人，我不知道某些話語的力量及傷害性，我以爲重複說、或用來開玩笑不會有問題，其實是因爲當時的我很無知。”

"Thanks to friends and family I learned from my mistakes and grew up and apologized for those wrongs. Now that these mistakes from the past have become public I need to apologize again to all those I have offended."
